Dr. Michael F. Andrews is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago and former Director/Chief Administrator of Loyola’s Rome campus (2017–2021). He previously served as the McNerney-Hanson University Professor of Ethics and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Portland. His academic leadership roles include directing academic programs in Salzburg, Florence, and Rome, and overseeing initiatives at Seattle University. Dr. Andrews holds a PhD from Villanova University, with advanced degrees from Georgetown, Yale, and the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
