Michael Dube

Michael Dube is a Visiting Assistant Professor at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law. He holds a J.D. from Rutgers University and an undergraduate degree from Rutgers College. His legal practice spanned nearly two decades, focusing on complex commercial litigation, clinical trials litigation, sports law, insurance coverage, and antitrust. He won the UNH 2022-2023 teaching award and a university-wide 2023 Excellence in Teaching Award. He teaches Civil Procedure, Contracts, Drug Law, and Amateur Sports Law. His research emphasizes sports law, ethics, intellectual property, and legal procedure. He frequently moderates sports law symposia and has presented on cases like O’Bannon v. NCAA and LIV Golf v. PGA Tour. He also engages in legal scholarship analyzing antitrust issues and procedural law through high-profile cases.

Research Highlights: Pioneered lack-of-informed-consent litigation in clinical trials, contributed to sports antitrust analysis, and explored legal history through gaming law. His in-progress work The Law of the Claw examines contract and gaming law via mechanical claw machines.
