Michael Beeler

Michael Beeler is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Operations at Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With over 20 years of industry experience in operations and supply chain management, he brings practical expertise to his academic role. His teaching focuses on operations, supply chain, and project management.

Professor Beeler's research interests center on process optimization methodologies including Six Sigma (where he holds Black Belt certification) and lean manufacturing principles. His industry experience spans multiple sectors including automotive, industrial manufacturing, telecommunications, and consumer packaged goods.

Before joining academia, he served nine years as an instructor in the U.S. Navy during active duty service. He holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler and a BS in Mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University.
