Dr. Mica Fiorito is a biotechnologist and protein engineer affiliated with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) as Laboratory Manager and Node Administrator of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology (CoESB), located within the Faculty of Engineering. She holds a PhD in protein engineering from QUT, focusing on chemically induced dimerization platforms and protein purification strategies. Originally from Argentina, she earned her biotechnology degree from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario and contributed to antibiotic discovery at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (IBR).
