Meredith Field is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Alfred University’s Division of Social Sciences. Her work bridges medical sociology, rural sociology, and feminist theory to address healthcare equity and access. Previously, she served as an OPEN Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cincinnati and earned dual PhDs in Rural Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies from Pennsylvania State University.
