Dr. Mercy Shenge is an Assistant Professor and Urban Studies coordinator at Coppin State University, specializing in Environmental Health and Urban Planning. She holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from Jackson State University, with additional degrees in Architecture and Environmental Design from Ahmadu Bello University (Nigeria) and an MPH in Environmental Health from Grand Canyon University. Her professional experience spans 16 years in academia and urban design roles across Nigeria and the U.S., including positions at Iowa State University and Ahmadu Bello University.
