Melissa Shoemake

Melissa Shoemake is a Lecturer in Poetry at Emory University, where she works in college administration and teaches creative writing. She holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Mississippi.

Her chapbook Ab.Sin.The. explores themes of voice and identity. Poems appear in The Southern Humanities Review, The American Poetry Journal, and anthologies.
