Melissa Crocker

Melissa Crocker, MD, MBA, is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Clinical Chief of Endocrinology at Boston Children's Hospital, where she directs the Type 2 Diabetes Program. She completed medical training at Tufts University School of Medicine and pediatric residency at Children's National Medical Center, followed by endocrinology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.

Her clinical research focuses on:

• Genetic determinants of growth disorders
• Endocrine tumor management strategies

Dr. Crocker leads multidisciplinary care initiatives through the Optimal Wellness for Life (OWL) and EMPOWER programs, providing specialized endocrinology services across Boston, Peabody, and Waltham clinical sites. Her recent investigations examine metabolic dysregulation in rare genetic disorders and pharmacological approaches to pediatric endocrine tumors.
