Jessica Smith, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and holds roles as Associate Medical Director of the Thyroid Center and Attending Physician in the Division of Endocrinology at Boston Children's Hospital. Her clinical and research expertise focuses on pediatric endocrine disorders, particularly thyroid conditions such as hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroid cancer, and thyroid nodules.
Dr. Smith completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Tufts University (1996), followed by medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine (2000). She trained in Pediatrics at the Boston Combined Residency Program (2003) and pursued fellowships in Pediatric Endocrinology (2006) and Thyroidology (2009) at Boston Children's Hospital.
