Melanie Sever

Melanie Sever is a Senior Lecturer in the Music Department at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and adjunct instructor at The College of St. Scholastica. She is a professional flutist, performing with the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra and conducting the Duluth Superior Symphony Youth Orchestras' Concert Orchestra. As a licensed Body Mapping specialist, she teaches movement techniques to prevent musician injuries and enhances performance potential through her 6-hour course 'What Every Musician Needs to Know about the Body.'
