Melanie Ripsam is a Scientific Associate at the Chair of Life Sciences Didactics within the Technical University of Munich (TUM) School of Social Sciences and Technology. Her work focuses on integrating augmented reality (AR) into chemistry and biology education, with a focus on improving understanding of the matter-particle concept and promoting the use of scientific terminology in teacher training. Since 2023, she has been a key employee in the DigiProMIN project, designing cross-curricular teacher training programs for digital media in STEM education.
