Melanie Jackson

Melanie Jackson is an academic faculty member at St. Norbert College, where she contributes to teacher education programs. She holds a B.A. and M.S. in Mathematics and Secondary Education from St. Norbert College, and a mathematics intervention certificate from UW-Oshkosh. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership in Innovation and Continuous Improvement at Concordia University - Wisconsin.

• Teaching Experience: Over 20 years as a 6-12 mathematics educator and K-12 mathematics intervention specialist
• Current Roles: Teaches elementary and secondary mathematics methods (EDU 312/313) and supervises clinical/student teachers at the collegiate level

Research Focus: Innovations in mathematics education and culturally relevant pedagogy, emphasizing equitable teaching strategies and curriculum development for diverse student populations.
