Melania Ranieli

Melania Ranieli is an Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Catanzaro, Department of Law, Economics and Sociology. She specializes in corporate law, corporate crisis management, bankruptcy proceedings, and commercial legal frameworks. Her research focuses on corporate governance, debtor-creditor relationships in insolvency, and legal aspects of corporate restructuring.

Education: Graduated with honors in Law, PhD in Business Law. She has held academic positions at the Universities of Palermo, Verona, and Hull (UK), and currently leads the Degree Course in Investigative Sciences at the University of Catanzaro. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Jurisprudence Research Center and curates projects on intangible assets in business law.

Her research includes analyses on bankruptcy agreements, corporate governance validity, and software patentability. Recent projects include studies on food as an intangible asset and concordat procedures in corporate crises. She has published three monographs and numerous articles in legal journals, focusing on bankruptcy law, corporate finance, and legal proceedings.
