Meghan Savage

Meghan Savage, PhD, CCC-SLP holds dual roles as Senior Program Director and Associate Professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS). She oversees the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP) program across four campuses in California, Florida, and Texas. Her career includes leadership positions such as program director, assistant program director, and clinical director at USAHS since 2018, alongside prior roles as graduate coordinator at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Her research focuses on adult neurogenic communication disorders, including conversational treatments for aphasia and its impact on communication partners. She also prioritizes interprofessional education (IPE), collaborative practice, and the scholarship of teaching and learning in speech-language pathology. Dr. Savage actively promotes curriculum innovation and clinical education in higher education administration.

Dr. Savage has presented at conferences globally and contributed to peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. She is a member of USAHS’ Academic Leadership Council and the Board of the Academy of Neurological Communication Disorders and Sciences.
