Megan Flocken

Megan Flocken, Ph.D. is the Chair of the Religion and Philosophy Department and an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Catawba College. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of South Florida (2019), a Master's in Liberal Studies from Rollins College (2010), and a B.A. in Ethics, History, and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. Her research focuses on nature, death, technology, politics, biology, and art through the lens of 19th- and 20th-century continental philosophy, engaging thinkers like Nietzsche, Heidegger, Hegel, and Levinas.
