Mayank Mehta

Mayank Mehta is a Professor of Physics And Astronomy, Neurobiology, and Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He holds a joint appointment in the College of Letters and Science. His research focuses on understanding neural mechanisms underlying spatial cognition, memory formation, and sensory integration, particularly in the hippocampus and entorhinal cortex. Key areas include the role of neural oscillations, synaptic plasticity, and multisensory inputs in spatial behavior and navigation.
