May Britt Moser is a Professor at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience, NTNU. Her research focuses on the neural basis of spatial location, spatial memory, and cognition. She co-discovered grid cells in the entorhinal cortex, a breakthrough earning her the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine alongside Edvard I. Moser and John O'Keefe.
