Dr. May El Haddad is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Lecturer in Nursing at UniSC. With a PhD from University of Wollongong (2016) examining graduate nurse readiness, she co-leads the First-Year Experience Working Group. Her 40-year career spans clinical education, nurse researcher roles at Sunshine Coast Hospital, and collaborative projects with Monash University.
Research focuses on workforce sustainability, digital health readiness, and clinical leadership capacity building. Recent grants explore interprofessional education for healthy aging and generative AI in nursing education. Publications address assessment moderation, speaking-up behaviors, and clinical-academic partnerships.
