Jennifer Bimrose is an Associate Lecturer in Nursing at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), Queensland, Australia, affiliated with the School of Health. With over 17 years of clinical experience in emergency, rural/remote, and palliative care, she focuses on nurse education and student support. She joined UniSC in 2018 as a sessional academic and currently coordinates the Clinical Connections course, aiding students returning to clinical placements after study gaps.
Her research interests include interprofessional education and digital health integration. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (Griffith University) and is completing a Master of Nursing (Clinical Leadership) at UniSC. Professional memberships include the Australian College of Nursing and Higher Education Academy, with an Associate Fellowship from the latter.
Jennifer teaches across undergraduate nursing courses, including NUR105, NUR200, NUR305, NUR226, NUR286, and NUR303. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creating warm, welcoming environments to inspire future nurses.
Outside academia, she enjoys beach time with family and pottery.
