Maurizio Schenone is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP) within the College of Management and Production Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin. He teaches Mechanical Systems and Production Planning and Logistics courses across Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Production programs while serving as a member of both the College of Management and Production Engineering and the College of Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering.

Professor Schenone has secured multiple commercially funded research projects including scientific coordination of the "SEAMLESS OPERATIONS" training plan (2022-2023) and "Department Efficiency" initiative (2020-2021). He has served as Scientific Manager for technical evaluations including ski lift maintenance contracts and has been a continuous member of the PhD college for Production Systems & Industrial Design since the 19th cycle (2003/2004), mentoring doctoral candidates for over two decades.
