Maureen A. Patterson, Ed.D., is a faculty member at Le Moyne College, where she serves as Director of the Education Leadership Programs and Internship Coordinator. Her career spans over 40 years in education, including roles as a special education teacher, administrator, elementary and secondary principal, and Assistant Superintendent in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
She earned her doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University, focusing on family-school involvement. Her expertise includes leadership development, hybrid/online course design, supervision and evaluation, grant writing, and mentorship.
Dr. Patterson is actively involved in educational policy advocacy as a member of the Government Relations Committee (GRC) for SAANYS, collaborating on initiatives like high school reform and Response to Intervention (RtI). She has retired from the Liverpool Central School District, where she led administrative teams to address evolving educational standards.
