Maureen Lee is a Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, with a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She brings over 30 years of experience in K-12 public schools as a teacher, counsellor, and administrator, having previously served as District Principal of Inclusive Education in West Vancouver.

- Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Simon Fraser University
Her research and professional interests focus on improving student-teacher relationships, restorative justice in education, inclusive and alternate education models, mental health promotion and intervention strategies, trauma-sensitive practices, and critical incident response frameworks. She actively collaborates with schools and communities to enhance well-being and inclusion.
Lee teaches graduate-level courses such as CNPS 4300 (Counselling Relationships and Basic Skills) and CNPS 4310 (The Reflective Practitioner) at KPU, while maintaining a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) private practice. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) North and West Vancouver Branch.
