Dr. Maureen Dolan is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology and Director of the Biotechnology Program at Arkansas State University's Beck College of Sciences & Mathematics, Department of Molecular Biosciences. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida.
Research Focus: Dr. Dolan develops plant-based bioproduction systems for therapeutic proteins targeting immune health in aquaculture. Her work includes optimizing RNA extraction protocols, engineering glycopeptide tags for protein stability, and creating molecular diagnostics for agricultural and food industries.
