Matthew Linaman

Matthew Linaman is a San Francisco-based cellist and Adjunct Professor at the Chamber Music department of the Pre-College program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has performed in over 15 countries as a soloist and member of the Cello Street Quartet, with notable appearances including the premiere of Richard Marriott's Ghostship Requiem Concerto with the Oakland Symphony.

Linaman specializes in Music Performance and Chamber Music, with additional interests in Musical Entrepreneurship, Mindfulness Meditation, and Neuroscience. He has received the Dean’s Award and Concerto Competition accolades at SFCM.
