Matthew Kelly

Matthew Kelly is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Tyler's Literature And Languages department. He holds a PhD in English (Rhetoric and Composition) from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA in English from Pennsylvania State University, and dual BAs in English and Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley.

His research focuses on digital literacies, integrating new media technologies into writing education, and analyzing pedagogical practices in video games and gaming communities. He teaches courses in Digital Media Studies, Professional and Technical Communication, Critical Writing, and First-Year Composition.
