Dr. Matthew Eisler is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Strathclyde, specializing in the intersection of energy, environment, and society. His work examines how ideology and policy shape technological development and ecological systems. He is affiliated with the Strathclyde Centre for Doctoral Training (C-INSPRE) and advises doctoral projects aligned with the university’s 7 strategic themes, including energy, advanced manufacturing, and environmental humanities.
