Matthew Cunningham

Matthew Cunningham is an Adjunct Associate Professor specializing in Transportation Design and Entertainment Design. He currently teaches automotive design at Art Center College of Design and design for film production at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art. His work spans 15 years in industrial design, project management, and education, with notable contributions to films like Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Cosmos: Season 2.

Education: Alumni of Art Center College of Design and Pratt Institute, where he studied Industrial, Transportation, and Entertainment Design.

Research focuses on design philosophy, creative methods, urban ecology, and advanced digital tools. He is an international lecturer, presenting in India and Greece on creative methodologies and design theory.

Clients include Warner Brothers, Marvel Studios, Toyota, BMW, and others. Teaches classes such as TRAN-203-01/02: Model 3 and ECPT-314-01: Vehicles and Props.
