Matteo Uguzzoni is an Italian game designer and adjunct professor at Pratt Institute, where he teaches Game Design Studio courses. He also serves as the NYU Games Center Incubator Director. Previously, he was interim Chair of the Interactive Arts department at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). His work focuses on urban game design, interactive media, and the intersection of games with public spaces.
His projects have garnered international recognition, including awards at festivals such as Goethe Kultursymposium (Germany), Triennale (Milan), and Come Out and Play (New York). Notable accolades include the 2024 Alfred P. Sloan Grant for the game Bloomsome, developed under his mentorship.
