Matteo Benassi is an Instructor of Italian at the University of Kentucky's Department of Modern and Classical Languages, Literatures and Cultures, housed within the College of Arts & Sciences. He teaches courses at all levels, including Elementary and Intermediate Italian, Italian Culture, and Italian Cinema (focusing on immigration and diversity). He co-directs the Italy Study Abroad Program "Italy Past and Present."
Education: Ph.D. in Italian from Rutgers University (2020).
