Mattea Eschenmann is a Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate at the Social Geography of Coasts and Seas research group at Kiel University. Her work explores the intersection of climate change impacts on urban heat, focusing on lived experiences through feminist and intersectional frameworks, including critical heat studies and environmental justice. She conducts a case study in Bordeaux on municipal heat protection and social justice.
