Matt Buckingham

Matt Buckingham is a Senior Lecturer in Illustration at Staffordshire University, specializing in visual storytelling and children's publishing. He holds a MA in Authorial Illustration from University College Falmouth and a BA in Illustration from Loughborough University. His academic roles include Course Leader for the Illustration program and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

His research and creative work focuses on narrative image making, animation, and character design, particularly for children's literature.
