Dr. Matt Brooks is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University, specializing in forensic and clinical psychology. His research focuses on trauma exposure, resilience, and posttraumatic growth, particularly in criminal justice populations such as victims of crime and jurors. He leads the Trauma and Resilience research group and is affiliated with the Life Paths Research Centre in the U.S.
