Mathieu Luypaert

Mathieu Luypaert is an Associate Professor of Corporate Finance and Director of the Centre for Mergers, Acquisitions and Buyouts at Vlerick Business School. He holds a Doctorate in Applied Economics from KU Leuven. His research focuses on M&A motives, financial decision-making, industry structures, information asymmetry, stock price effects, and synergy realization post-M&A. He teaches corporate finance and M&A on various Masters, MBA, and executive programs, with international experience in China, Dubai, Ireland, and France.
