Mathias Kronlund is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). He holds a Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University. His research focuses on empirical corporate finance, financial institutions, and market dynamics, with notable work on mutual funds, credit markets, and corporate governance.
Education: Ph.D. & MBA in Finance (2011, University of Chicago); M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management (2006, Aalto University).
