Masato Shizume

Masato Shizume is a Professor at Waseda University’s Faculty of Political Science and Economics. His research focuses on economic history, particularly the history of money and finance, public economics, and Japanese economic history.

He holds a Doctor of Economics from Kobe University and has contributed extensively to interdisciplinary studies linking pandemics with socio-economic systems.
