Mary Purdy, MS, RDN, is an adjunct professor at Bastyr University and managing director of the Nutrient Density Alliance. She holds a master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University and transitioned from 13+ years in clinical practice (using food-as-medicine approaches) to focus on sustainability in food systems and its intersection with climate change.
