Mary Gallucci

Professor Mary Gallucci is a part-time faculty member in the English Department at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on Renaissance literature and drama, with a particular emphasis on gender, religion, and cultural history. Her notable publication Performing Witchcraft, Exorcism, and Abortion on the Italian Renaissance Stage (2024) explores themes of ritual, power, and societal norms in early modern theater. The book was featured on the UConn English Department's Faculty Bookshelf.
