Mary Beth Alexander is an Adjunct Professor at the University of St. Thomas, specializing in Orff Schulwerk music education. She teaches K-4th grade music and movement at The Nightingale-Bamford School in New York City, where she also leads a middle school drumming elective and serves on the Lower School leadership team. She holds a B.A. in Music from Vassar College and a M.A. in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas, completing Mastery Certifications in both Orff and Kodály approaches.
Her work emphasizes equity and inclusivity through culturally responsive teaching practices.
