Beth Nelson

Beth Nelson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Music, Film & Creative Enterprise at the University of St. Thomas. She also serves as the Course Director for the Orff Schulwerk teacher training courses at the University of St. Thomas and Southern Methodist University. Additionally, she is a K-5 music teacher and Assistant Principal at St. Paul Academy and Summit School in St. Paul, MN.

Her research focuses on Music Education, Elementary Education, and Orff Schulwerk, emphasizing experiential music pedagogy for young learners. She integrates movement, speech, and drama into elementary music curricula.
