Dr. Mary Aiken is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Cyberpsychology at Capitol Technology University and a Professor of Forensic Cyberpsychology at the University of East London. She holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Cyberpsychology and is a globally recognized expert in the impact of technology on human behavior. Her roles include membership in INTERPOL's Global Cybercrime Expert Group and academic advising at Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3). Aiken is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine, a Wilson Center Global Fellow, and holds numerous accolades, including induction into the Infosecurity Europe Hall of Fame (2017) and the 2020 Doctor Honoris Causa from University Politehnica of Bucharest.
Her research focuses on cyberpsychology, cybersecurity human factors, and cybercrime prevention.
