Marwa Soliman

Marwa Soliman is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at St. John Fisher University, joining in Spring 2024. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Her research examines:

• Impact of political uncertainty on corporate disclosures
• Textual features in financial reporting
• Corporate social responsibility disclosures
• Executive career concerns in governance

Publications appear in top journals including The Accounting Review and International Review of Financial Analysis. Her doctoral dissertation received a best dissertation nomination in social sciences.
