Martin Zaunschirm serves as Professor of Piano in the Faculty of Music Education and Head of the Institute for Keyboard Instruments (Faculty of Music) at JAM MUSIC LAB Private University for Jazz and Popular Music, with additional lecturing duties at the Friedrich Gulda School of Music since 2017.
He holds dual diplomas in piano for jazz and popular music from the Jam Music Lab Conservatory Vienna, graduating with distinction in both 2015 and 2017.
Zaunschirm's research centers on piano performance within jazz/popular music traditions and digital innovation, leading the JamMusicStage project—a 4k video/audio production space exploring Web 3.0 music distribution in collaboration with Canon, the Austrian Blockchain Center, and WU.
As Head of artist placement for "JAM MUSIC LAB Artists," he directs career development for students and alumni, coordinating workshops with Peter Erskine, Branford Marsalis, and Bill Dobbins while managing institutional partnerships with the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz and International Jazzday.
