Martin Steiner is a senior researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where he has worked since 1990 in the Department for the Study and Publication of the Works of J. A. Comenius. Previously at the Institute of Pedagogy (1971-1990), he served as department head (1993-2012) and deputy head (2013-2021).
