Martin O'Leary

Martin O'Leary is a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the Department of Music at Maynooth University, part of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. He is based in Logic House (Floor 1, Room 110) and can be contacted at (01) 708 3924 or via email at martin.oleary@mu.ie.

He completed his doctoral research at Trinity College Dublin in 2004, focusing on Havergal Brian's orchestral works from the 1930s. His research expertise spans musicology, orchestral composition, and 20th-century music history, with specific interest in British modernist composers.

In addition to academic work, O'Leary maintains performance activities, having participated in concerts at NUIM and Dublin's National Concert Hall in 2001.
