Dr. Martin Cunneen is an Associate Professor at the University of Limerick's Kemmy Business School, affiliated with the Data-Driven Computer Engineering Research Centre and Lero – the Irish Software Research Centre. He leads the AI-ERA (Ethics, Regulation, Accountability) Research Group and serves as Principal Investigator for the Horizon Europe-funded XTREME project (2024–2027), focusing on mixed reality technologies for art and culture.
