Dr. Barry Sheehan is an Associate Professor in Risk and Finance at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. He serves as Course Director for interdisciplinary programs including the award-winning MSc in Machine Learning for Finance, MSc in Computational Finance, and Grad. Dip. in Artificial Intelligence in Finance. A member of the Emerging Risk Group (ERG) and Lero – The Irish Software Research Centre, he specializes in estimating risk profiles for emerging technologies through machine learning.
