Marshall Elliott is an Adjunct Professor in the Sculpture Program at California College of the Arts. He holds an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute and a BA in Film Studies and English Literature from University of Colorado, Boulder. His artistic practice explores materiality and spatial relationships through sculpture and installation.
Research interests include experimental material applications and site-specific installations that investigate historical narratives and spatial perception. His work has been exhibited internationally including at Jules Maeght Gallery (SF), Root Division (SF), and deYoung Museum (SF).
Awards include the Anne Bremer Memorial Prize and multiple residency fellowships. He maintains an active exhibition record with recent shows at Tartine (SF) and Jules Maeght Gallery.
