Marlyn Bennett

Dr. Marlyn Bennett is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Social Work. Her research specializes in Indigenous social work, focusing on child welfare policy, youth transitioning from care, cultural safety for survivors of sexual violence, and Indigenous research methodologies.

She employs qualitative methods including Photovoice and Digital Storytelling. Dr. Bennett holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Social Work (2016), MA in Interdisciplinary Studies (2005), and BA in Native Studies (1992), all from the University of Manitoba.
