Marlon Ross

Marlon Ross is a Professor of English and American Studies affiliate at the University of Virginia. He earned his Ph.D. (1983) and M.A. (1979) from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Southwestern University (1978).

• Research focuses on African American Literature, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and Romanticism, with particular emphasis on Black masculinity, queer theory, and critical race theory.
