Markus Egg

Markus Egg is a University Professor and Director of the Prehistory Department at the Romano-Germanic Central Museum in Mainz, Germany. A leading expert in Iron Age archaeology, he has spearheaded international collaborations and coordinated the restoration of artifacts from the "Man in the Ice" (Ötzi the Iceman). His work facilitates advanced analysis of Tyrolean excavation finds through partnerships with world-class laboratories.
